The Fancy Foundation was established in 1960 by the Fancy Family. The late Mr. Amirali Fancy, a pioneer and leading industrialist in Pakistan, was its first Chairman. The Fancy Foundation has played a vital role in supporting and assisting philanthropic contributions to the health and education sectors, environmental preservation and rehabilitation programs, the development of sports facilities for the youth, setting up a library at the Staff College, Quetta as well as continued support to the Aga Khan University and Kidney Center, Karachi amongst others.

In continuing its role of support to further the cause of education in Pakistan, The Fancy Foundation, chaired by Mr. Amir S. Fancy, has made a generous contribution to the Aga Khan Foundation by establishing a multi-million rupee endowment fund that aims to assist HSSC students by offering scholarships and assistance for books and examinations for students of Karachi and GBC.
