The Fancy Group of Companies operate solely on the values that put our stakeholders first – be it our customers, our employees or the community we live in.

Although the Fancy Group was founded in Pakistan with the arrival of patron Amirali H. Fancy, the foundations were laid with the family’s migration from India to Kenya in 1880 and subsequently to Tanzania in 1912. It was in Mwaza, Tanzania where the family established their very first trading stores by the name of Alibhai Lalji & Sons. From these humble origins, came forth an organisation, whose name symbolises trust and excellence in the business world.

The Fancy Group boasts a rich history that dates back to July of 1947 when Amirali Fancy intimated his family in Africa to dispose off all interests and migrate soon to Pakistan. This decision marked the beginning of a vast business and an industrial empire he was to build in Pakistan over the later years.
